At the heart of Queen City Early Childhood Center is a dedicated caring staff providing education and nutritious meals, in a safe and inclusive family environment. We truly believe that it takes a village to raise a child. This is why we partner with families, the community, and stakeholders to provide a strong, foundational, and developmentally appropriate program for each child.
We partner with families because we know that parents are a child’s first teachers and that a strong support system and early-learning foundation build brighter futures for our children. Our homelike setting and safe, secure environment make our center the perfect place for children to play, laugh, and discover.
Our founder
Cherish Davis, founder and owner of Queen City Early Childhood Center, has 20 years of experience and education in the early childhood field. Previously, she has served as the Education Coach and Manager, Program Director, and Pre-school teacher in various early childhood programs.
Mrs. Davis has a passion for enhancing the quality of life for those in our communities through early childhood education and professional development. Mrs. Davis is also mentor/coach for current and aspiring early childhood professionals.
Mrs. Davis aspires to grow as a leader by influencing policy change to support and increase the quality of education. She believes that all children can achieve their maximum potential with a quality education and someone who believes in them.
